João Arthur Pompeu

I am Postdoctoral reseacher with focus on modelling agricultural and ecological processes. I am biologist, with master in remote sensing and PhD. in Earth System Science. Since my graduation, I have been working on landscape ecology, patterns of land use changes and food security in the Neotropics. I started working at BC3 in the already concluded MASBIO project (Sustainable land management practices for the preservation of biodiversity and other ecosystem services in the Mijares basin), with the aim of integrating stakeholder engagement and artificial intelligence for landscape management in the Mediterranean though ARIES. I’m passionate about photography and sea.
