Ylenia Casali

I am a postdoctoral researcher at BC3. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Resilience Lab of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management in TU Delft. I am also an alumna of the Future Resilient Systems (FRS) programme of the Singapore-ETH Centre. I hold a PhD from the Department of Environmental Systems Science of ETH Zurich, as well as an MSc and a BSc in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. My research focused on analyzing urban resilient systems and social vulnerability, which involved methodologies driven by network theory and machine learning to study spatiotemporal changes in the built environment.
