Originally available in English or Spanish, a French version of our ground-breaking solution for natural capital accounting is now accessible online. After the great success of the ARIES for SEEA Explorer’s launch last year, the ARIES team has worked on translating the open-source application to support our French-speaking users.
The ARIES team is pleased that environmental partners in French-speaking countries like the Senegalese Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD) will be using the translated version of the ARIES for SEEA Explorer to compile System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) accounts.
It is important that the key features of the solution are made accessible in more languages in order to enable users to independently use the Explorer and implement the SEEA Ecosystem Accounting at a national level. Together with the UN, ARIES is working on further translations of the ARIES for SEEA Explorer to be made available in the coming months – stay tuned!
