The ALICE Interreg project organized the “Landscape habitats and Ecosystem Services mapping for landscape management” Winter School on December 9, 2020.
The scope of the one-day digital event was to provide insights and tools for landscape characterisation, from habitats mapping, connectivity to ecosystem services assessment that were based on practical outcomes, being replicable to any other case study.
The training sessions targeted a varied audience, from young to senior scientists sharing a common interest in Land Change Science methods.
Stefano Balbi, ARIES managing director, was among the invited speakers. During a two-hour tutorial, he gave participants a fascinating overview of k.LAB technology: an AI-powered software designed for data and model integration.
Watch Stefano’s introduction to the integrated modelling ecosystem in the video below! You can also access the guidelines to get started with k.LAB.
If you want to try the k.Explorer user interface, without downloading any software, you can access it from: https://integratedmodelling.org/modeler. If you don’t have them already, you can create your credentials for access at: https://integratedmodelling.org/hub.
