The LIFE CC PYRENEES project aims to implement the Pyrenean climate change strategy (EPICC), driving the region towards ambitious climate goals. This project aims to provide the medium-term vision necessary to address climate change issues and become a real accelerator of climate action policies in the Pyrenees by following up on the key points identified in the EPICC strategy itself. Through multi-sectoral collaboration and strong governance, it will drive the region towards ambitious climate goals, positioning it as a European leader in combating climate change.
ARIES supports the analysis and evaluation of solutions related to the increased incidence of health issues due to air quality and water quality and availability in the Pyrenean territory. This involves conducting specific case studies to identify regional needs and standardizing available information to establish a methodological framework. Leveraging this data, ARIES aims to develop predictive models for ecosystem services.
