Summary

Information

Funded by Belmont Forum & Biodiversa, the OBServ project (in short, Open library of pollinator Biodiversity and ecosystem Services scenarios) aims to to co-develop a user-friendly open library of pollinator biodiversity and ecosystem service models which can be used to deliver local and global predictive maps based on different environmental scenarios.

ARIES modelling platform serves to integrate different pollination data and models, allowing users to expand biodiversity models beyond species richness, and compare and validate predictions of data-driven, statistical and mechanistic biodiversity models.

From our central hub at the Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3) we conduct inint activities with more than 20 countries. Those activities notably take the form of a portfolio of 12 projects each year, a selection of which is shown on this map. A number of government agencies, universities and NGOs in partnership for research and training = our preferred modes of international collaboration - complete this view of our worldwide presence on the ground.
